Project Hermes

Project Hermes is a real time strategy game about quickly and safely delivering supplies to the front lines while clearing out pockets of enemies that are harassing your convoys.

Version 0.2 is a short, one-level game. Since releasing v0.1, I've gone back and made major updates to the gameplay.

The Goal

Deliver supplies to help the forward base defeat the enemies on the front line!

1. Use supply trucks to deliver resources to the forward base.
2. The forward base will attack the enemy on the front line
   1. The front line is the grey rectangle in the desert
3. Friendly convoys will deliver supplies to your base

To Victory!

Support the forward base in their offensive! The tanks sent by the forward base must destroy the enemy towers to win!

Protect the Forward Base

The enemy will try to attack the forward base. Send supplies to the forward base so they can protect their own guard towers. If the forward base loses the 4 guard towers near the front line, then you lose!

Tips

• Send units along different roads
  • Only Roads A and B are available on this level.
• More enemies will spawn on road A than road B at the start
  
  • A bug seems to make more enemies spawn on B 
• The enemies will react to where you send your units
• When units return to your base, you are refunded 50% of their unit cost.

The Symbols

• $: Unit Cost (the base cost of the unit)
• The Box: Resources Carried (the amount of resources the unit can carry)
• =: The total resources to deploy this unit (unit cost + unit carry)

Humvee	50	0	50	Basic convoy defender. Good against small groups of units.

Move Camera	W, A, S, D or Click and Drag LMB
Rotate Camera	Q, E
Reset Camera	Double click middle mouse
Speed up time	F
Slow down time	G
Pause Game	Esc
Quit Game	Alt+F4 (I haven't added a dedicated quit button yet)
